Yesterday we splurged and ate at two regional chains we’ve been seeing on the highway signs – Taco John’s for lunch, and Pizza Ranch for dinner. Today, I think we’ll be eating salads!

Camped at a city park in Bookings, SD. Now we’re on our way to Aberdeen and the famed Red Rooster. We’ve heard a lot of good things, so we can’t wait to see how it goes tonight!

As we turn west on hwy 12, there’s a section of land dotted with tiny lakes. It looks more like Florida or the gulf coast thank the plains! There are even seagulls and pelicans flying around!

Had a great gig, to a small but engaged audience. Ended up playing two sets (act after us was a no-show) and had some good conversation and food after. Penny ran out of the RV as we were getting ready to go, so now we sit and wait for her to get bored and come back in!
