THE book!

I got my proof copy of my drumset method book, “Building Grooves,” in the mail today! This is the last proofreading step before I set it out into the world for all to see. It’s been a long, 7 year journey getting it all done, but now that I can hold it in my hand and see it in all its’ glossy goodness, it’s all worth the work!

I’ll be having the official release party on January 14th, 2010 at 2112 Percussion in Raleigh, so mark that date on your calendar. I’ll put more info up here as I finalize plans, but I’m planning on premiering several new compositions, having some clinic/instructional time, and of course, DOOR PRIZES!! Stay tuned for more info!

Also, I’ve got 2 pre-release specials in the works. For members of the PAS, I’m giving away free .pdf review copies from now until the end of the year. Check my blog post on the new site, or my profile page. For non-PAS members, I’m going to be putting the e-version and print version for sale on Lulu once I’m sure everything is right, with a special pre-release pricing! I’ll post another blog when that’s all set up, but just remember that Christmas is coming up! Or, if you celebrate Hanukkah, you can get 8 copies!

Now, I’ve got to start practicing! I’m scheduled to record the online video content (did I mention that there’s online video content?) the first of December. I’m not sure I’m ready to play all those exercises yet!
