concert toms!
My latest drum hardware project has been refinishing some toms to match my bass drum, giving me a full concert setup.

It took a few months, but they’re finally done! They started life as a Pearl Export, a Pearl Vision, and 2 CB 700s, all in different colors (along with the two Ludwig marching basses). Finally, they look like they go together! Now, I have to get back to learning how to play them (this setup works for teh Portraits in Multiple Percussion book which I’ve been putting off practicing since the drums have been torn apart).

Gorgeous! I wish I could paint my trombone purple. You percussionists are so lucky! :)
